Service Areas: Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia

Sarra has been a Registered Psychologist in Alberta (#5445) since June 2020 and BC (#4151) since October 2025. Her core values include fostering integrity in relationships, embracing diversity, and approaching her work with optimism and professionalism. She joined Sharon Blott Psychological Services in 2021 and became the Clinical Director in 2023, carrying forward the mission of the clinic, which was founded in 2010 to provide psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.

In March 2024, Sarra rebranded the clinic as Constellation Psychology, inspired by the concept of a mental constellation—a network of interconnected thoughts, emotions, memories, and experiences that shape an individual’s mental landscape and personality, akin to stars forming constellations in the sky. This name reflects her approach to helping clients navigate the complexities of their challenges, empowering them to bridge gaps, reach their potential, and achieve success.

Sarra has a Master of Education degree in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. Her training was completed at both the Calgary Board of Education and the University of Calgary, allowing her to specialize in psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults. Sarra also has 5 years of experience directly supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and developmental delays within multiple settings (i.e., home, school, and community) and programs (i.e., PUF and FSCD).

Registered Psychologist

ADHD Assessment, Assessment Meetings, Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment, Capacity Assessment, Cognitive Assessment for Disability Services, Gifted Assessment, Psychoeducational Assessment

Service Areas: Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and the Northwest Territories

Sharon has been a Registered Psychologist in Alberta (#2612) since March 2001. She is also registered in BC (#2601) and the Northwest Territories (#2250-73889). As a provisional psychologist (1998-2001), she worked for the Calgary Catholic School District and, once registered, obtained a position with the Calgary Board of Education, which she maintained for five years. She subsequently assumed the role of Manager of Assessment Services at Foothills Academy, a private school dedicated to the educational needs of students with learning disabilities. She resigned in 2010 so that her own children could attend school. She chose to establish a private practice in October 2010 to meet her clients’ needs better. Long waiting lists for assessments, limited resources, and system politics left many families feeling frustrated and alone in their search for support for their children. As a parent with two grown daughters with special needs, including learning disabilities and ADHD, Sharon understands the difficulties families experience as they attempt to navigate the system. She brings both a personal and professional perspective to her work.

Since registration, she has consistently strived to provide a high-quality, ethical service. She adheres to the many guidelines and standards of practice set out by the College of Alberta Psychologists. She maintains continued competency in her practice by attending workshops and webinars, listening to podcasts, and reading current research. Her foremost guiding principle is respect for the dignity of persons. This is evident in all her interactions with clients, and she values their trust as she works with them and/or their children.

Her work is highly regarded in the community, and feedback about her comprehensive reports is consistently positive. She values diversity and works with families from many different cultural backgrounds.
